About Natural Spa & Massage 

THE FINE PRINT

We are a small spa and space can be limited. In order to provide you and other clients with excellent customer service and access to appointments, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Kindly review the booking and cancellation information below. Please note that by booking an appointment, you are accepting the conditions of our cancellation policy. We really appreciate your business and hope you have a relaxing experience with us.

RESERVATIONS

When booking your Spa Package, you will be asked to provide a valid credit card number to reserve your appointment. Please note that a small (20%) deposit will be taken upon booking. The deposit will be applied to your account. The deposit is Non-Refundable. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, we will charge you the amount of the deposit. If you reschedule or cancel the appointment with more than 24 hours’ notice the deposit will remain on your account and may be used for future appointments.

*20% deposit required to secure reservations for services over $150 or over 2 hours.

*20% deposit required to secure reservations for services during Holidays.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Our staff is in great demand, so please be respectful to their time and that of other guests by honoring your commitment to be here for your reservation. We require at least 24 hours when canceling an appointment. Multiple bookings require at least 48 hours. Repeated no-shows or cancellations may require paying in full for future appointment reservations.

LATE ARRIVALS

Although we ask that you try to arrive 5-10 minutes before your session start time to discuss session goals, we do our best to make up for the lost time in the event of late arrival. That being said, we have to be fair to all clients. While we will try to reach all of your session goals in the allotted time, please be advised that your session may be shortened if clients are scheduled after you. If you are more than 20 minutes late, we will try to reach you. After that, you will be treated as a no-call / no show and may be subject to a fee (see above). Individuals who are expected but plan to be more than 25 minutes late for their scheduled time, may be asked to reschedule and the original treatment time & cost will be charged.

NO CALL / NO SHOW

If you do not call to cancel and also fail to show up to your appointment, we will attempt to reach you. If you cannot be reached, or if you simply forget, you may be subject to partial (20%) or full payment. If you no call /no show two appointments, you will be required to pay in full when booking your appointment.

We accept cash and all major credit cards.

INTAKE FORMS

It is the responsibility of the client to inform their massage therapist of any and all medical conditions. Intake forms are required on the day of your first appointment. Please fill out these forms to the best of your knowledge as certain ailments are contraindicated by massage and may need a physician's clearance before proceeding with any session; additionally, these forms provide us with detailed information about your session goals and preferences to make your massage as enjoyable and effective as possible.

ESSENTIAL OIL & PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

The information and advice provided about the essential oils we use have not been evaluated by the FDA. The products and methods recommended are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any illness or disease, nor is it intended to replace proper medical help. If you are concerned about potential side effects that can accompany the use of certain products (usually due to skin sensitivities or allergies), are pregnant, breastfeeding, or simply have questions about the essential oils we use or certain ingredients found in our products, please consult your primary health care provider before using.

FACIALS & MASSAGES

All facials and massages are done by a licensed massage therapist/licensed esthetician and are for relaxation purposes only.

MISCELLANEOUS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

• Please do not arrive at your appointment under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as it is a contraindication and massage will not be administered.
• We ask that you please show up to your appointment with good hygiene. Professional hygiene requirements also apply to the massage therapist and all linen or equipment that may be used.
• Clients will be modestly draped during their entire session. You may undress to your level of comfort and only the part of the body we are working on at that moment will be exposed.
• Out of courtesy for the other tenants and clients who may be in the building, we ask you to please turn down or off the ringer to your cell  phone and to please keep your voices to a minimum in the hallways.
• Please wait in the designated waiting area. Do not attempt to knock or walk into the actual studio, especially if the door is closed, as we may still be with a client. Enjoy the provided reading material and we will be with you when ready!

PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES

Massage Therapy is strictly therapeutic and non-sexual in nature. Any requests or inappropriate discussion for sexual activity will NOT be tolerated, will be viewed as solicitation, and your session will end immediately. You will also be reported to the proper authorities. You will still be responsible to pay in full & will be banned from rescheduling at Natural Spa & Massage in the future. We also have the right to refuse service to anyone or end any session early that we see fit.


SCOPE OF PRACTICE

Massage Therapy is provided for stress reduction, relaxation, relief from muscular tension, and improvement of circulation and energy flow. We will only perform techniques in which we are trained and able to do. Clients will be referred to the appropriate specialist, should techniques fall out of massage therapy's scope of practice or if massage is not in the client's best interest. We will never diagnose, prescribe, treat physical or mental illness, or perform spinal adjustments, as the massage is not a substitute for medical care.

CHILDREN + TEENS

To maintain a relaxing atmosphere, children may not be left unattended, unless they are receiving services. Anyone under 18 will need to be signed written permission for services.

Available for any amount or service, Natural Spa & Massage gift certificates make perfect gifts for any occasion and are redeemable for services and spa retail.

Our gift certificates are available for purchase on-site and by phone.

*Gift certificates are non-refundable and never expires until the card is used.
